She hadn't started since a sixth place finish to Ryafan and Maxzene in the Matriarch (G1) at Hollywood Park. Sixteen entered $100,000 Robert G. Dick Memorial, but so imposing is Memories of Silver's record, that when she did not scratch, 11 others did. She won easily by a little more than three lengths.
Memories of Silver accompanied her younger half-sister, Memories of Gold (Time For A Change), who was to run later in the day in the Delaware Oaks.
