Beating the Boys...

A Crowd 26,000+ racing fans came out to applaud Serena's Song as she became the first filly to win the 1995 $500,000 Haskell Invitational (gr. I) over a field of ten colts including Suave Prospect, Citadeed, Mighty Magee and Reality Road. Past the wire, Gary Stevens looks back as Serena finishes 3/4 of a length ahead of a closing Pyramid Peak & Herb McCauley.
